
WINE, BEER, OIL AND GOURMET FROM APULIA
Very intense and elegant ruby red color, ample fragrance
and complex, fruity with hints of plum, cherry jam and
notes of tobacco, slightly spicy. Wine of great body, soft and
rich in noble tannins, with a finish that gives notes of cocoa, coffee and vanilla.
Pairings: Traditional Apulian recipes, meats seasoned with sauces, roasts and
mature cheeses.

Grape variety: 100% Primitivo.
Age of the vines: 40-70 years.
Production area: Very old selected vineyards in the municipalities of Carosino, Monteparano, Faggiano. The soils are made of calcareous clay. The summer temperature that makes the plants red hot in the low temperatures and the high rainfall, gives the grapes a high quality.
Harvest time: First / third week of September.
Vinification: The grapes are harvested manually in boxes, the maceration is 10-12 days with regular pumping over. After alcoholic fermentation and racking, the wine rests in stainless steel containers where malolactic fermentation takes place. Aging in French oak barriques for 6 months.
